Fast Cookies for Tonight’s Whatever Get Together

Okay - Can not take credit for this one. I saw this one on Rachel Ray and fell in love with how easy these are and how flexible they are. I’ll explain - these can appease any palate.

Puff Pastry Sheet (always have one the fridge, great for last minute anything) roll it out on parchment paper. Spread your choice of jam, nutella, peanut butter - whatever floats your boat. The roll towards the middle. For example - length wise - start rolling towards the middle - stop at the middle - then roll the other side to the middle…so it’s kind of like a scrolly cookie….

Next - slice into 1 or 1/2 inch sections and lay out on parchment paper on a baking dish….(pre-heat oven to whatever the puff pastry box suggests - normall 400)

Bake as puff pastry box suggests - I used pumpkin jam on these and baked them around 20-30 minutes…

Then sprinkle (not shown here) with powdered sugar - store in an airtight container. These are sooo easy and fast. When in need of a no brainer cookie or desert for the last minute holiday party - I highly reccomend these. They are simple but sweet. If you want to go all out - chop up nuts and mix in with whatever filler you are using.
