Seize the Moment - NOW!

I NEVER, EVER buy my Holiday decorations, etc. leading up to a Holiday. I always buy post Holiday when everything is on clearance and store it for the following year. Talk about the most BANG for your buck?! You shouldn’t do it any other way.

Check List:

  • CVS is offering stuff at 50% off
  • Michaels and JoAnn’s are slashing stuff at 70% off

What’s amazingly strange is that all retailers are doing this to their Autumn merchandise…so actually with Thanksgiving still 3 weeks away you can probably reap some rewards for the present tense. Another haven for Holiday clearance items: TJ Max. They have a nice quality selection. But that said you can usually find deals there far before the Holiday itself.

Coupon Tip: Michaels Receipts. Pay close attention I’ve been making menial purchases and at the bottom of my receipt is a 50% off coupon! I used my first one to buy a Martha Stewart “Happy Holiday” sign (which by the way is EASY and cheap to replicate I’ll be posting that project later in the week.) so I spent $3 on a $6 dollar item. I stood there torn about another item on the Martha Stewart rack and then decided against it. Upon Check out I spent $9 and yet again my receipt rewarded me with another 50% off. This will allow me again to buy the Martha Stewart item that I wanted for a couple of bucks.

I urge you to pay attention to these coupons and pace yourself one purchase at a time. Seriously. Now go find a deal.
