Pumpkin Choc Chip Cookies

These cookies make October feel like Autum.  In our family if you haven’t made these then it isn’t Autum or Halloween.

Ingredients

• 2 Cups all purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (or more if you like)
• 1/2teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (or more if you like)
• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 cup canned pumpkin
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 bag of 11.5 oz Chocolate Chips (milk is the best)

If you use parchment paper or silicon cookie sheet you don’t need to grease the cookie sheets if not please grease the cookie sheets.  Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, soda, and nutmeg.  In a mixer bowl beat butter/margarine for 30 seconds; add brown sugar and beat till fluffy.  Add large egg, pumpkin and vanilla, beat well.  Add dry ingredients to mixture, beating till well blended.  Stir in chocolate chips.  Use a cookie scoop and place them 2 inches apart on the cookie sheets.  Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.  Cool on wire cookie racks.  Enjoy!  Makes about 48 cookies
